I coded a program to convert text files from the .cif file type to the .cfg file type based on user defined parameters. I provided support for this program by adding more functionality as user demands increased. This was part of a research project which resulted in the following publication: Structural variability in La0.5Sr0.5TiO3±d thin films, Applied Physics Letters (Vol.99, Issue 26), 2011.
